One man was killed Sunday morning after a single-car crash, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said. The call came at about 9:10 a.m. of a collision with injuries at Southgate Boulevard east of University Drive in Tamarac.

A 30-year-old man was fleeing a previous crash when he went up an embankment on the Dan Ryan Expressway and struck a pole about 1:30 a.m. Saturday near 76th Street, police said. His car burst into flames and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
