The seven members of the group BTS dropped a joint statement on Instagram sharing the news that they won't be submitting any music for the next Grammy Awards.

On July 29, after RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook announced that they would not submit an entry for this year’s ceremony, it became known to ARMY where BTS stand.

K-pop powerhouse BTS said they will not submit their music for consideration at the forthcoming 2027 Grammy Awards. All seven BTS members — RM, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, Jung Kook and Jin — shared the same note Wednesday.

The massively popular K-pop boyband announced they would not submit for consideration for the Recording Academy’s awards this year, in apparent protest of a new Asian Pop Music category.
