By reading different values from the sensor, we can detect if is it light , dark or a value between them. Another element that we are going to use on this experiment is Piezo Buzzer.

By placing a unit equipped with an ADXL345, an accelerometer for detecting motion, or a Piezo sensor on a door, it can notify you when someone knocks or tries to kick in the door.

Once you have all your components, you can start assembling your high-speed camera trigger. Connect the piezoelectric sensor to the Arduino, and then connect the Arduino to the camera and flash.

Piezo Trigger Switch circuit described here is a microcontroller-compatible shock/impact sensor switch module works on 5VDC supply. The whole circuit can be assembled on a 5×7 cm common circuit board.

The prototype uses “one umbrella, 12 piezo sensors, two speakers, one Arduino Uno, and lots of duct tape” to create an awesome little chiptune.
