Using an Android box without a keyboard and mouse can be a bit trickier… and that’s a problem many companies have tried to tackle by releasing remote controls designed to work with Android.

By using the Android TV Remote Control app, you can pop-up an input box from your phone to type out logins, passwords, etc. on your Android TV without having to use the remote that came with your box.

As for in-the-box accessories, the company offers a standard remote control for the Android TV box which is accompanied by a compact wireless keyboard that uses Bluetooth to pair with the media box.

AFTVNews found the same message is displayed on the Onn Google TV 4K Pro streaming box that Walmart released earlier this month with support for the new find my remote feature.

As for the remote, the Mi Box S’s clicker now includes quick-launch buttons for Netflix and for Android TV’s Live Channels app.

While Walmart's Pro streaming box does not run Android 14 for TV, its firmware is based on a newer Android 12 for TV release that includes the remote finding tool.
