The feud between President Donald Trump and veteran rock star Bruce Springsteen escalated Wednesday after the commander in chief posted a doctored video to social media showing him hitting the singer with a golf ball.

President Donald Trump is once again letting his distaste for Bruce Springsteen be known after the musician slammed him and his administration during two recent concerts. This time, an altered video Trump shared via his Truth Social platform on Wednesday (May 21) shows the commander in chief in a red Make America Great Again cap as he takes a big swing and hits a ball on the golf course as onlookers cheer him on.

In May 2025, a Facebook post claimed popular musicians Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift performed together in a concert after U.S. President Donald Trump targeted them for criticism. Trump had written a series of posts about them on his official Truth Social account.

Bruce Springsteen has been very vocal about his dislike of Donald Trump and it seems he's now found an ally in Neil Young, who has also blasted the President

"I am not scared of you. Neither are the rest of us," the musician Neil Young wrote in a recent post on his website.

Even as his fame and wealth have soared over the decades, Bruce Springsteen has retained the voice of the working class' balladeer, often weighing in on politics — most notably when he was a regular presence on Barack Obama's presidential campaign.

Donald Trump has taken a swing at Bruce Springsteen with a golf meme, as their spat continues. The U.S. President posted the clip on his Truth Social platform, showing him hitting a drive and then cutting to a clip of Springsteen falling over after seemingly being hit by Trump's ball.
