The TODAY co-anchors reflected on a time when Craig and his future wife, Lindsay Czarniak, had their evening cut short so she could appear on MSNBC’s “The Daily Rundown."

He'd spent all day Sunday with Guthrie in Tampa for the Sunday Night Football game, then stayed up until 11 p.m. to watch his favorite team, the Washington Commanders, win the game. His first-day, back-to-school jitters started with rising at 3:45 a.m. for his hour commute to 30 Rock.
