Cases of flu are spiking across North Texas. On Monday, nearly 700 children were treated in the emergency department at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth. On an average day, the emergency room sees 379 patients. The number of flu cases this year is set to surpass the past several years, the medical system said.
