The Toronto Maple Leafs host the Florida Panthers on Wednesday evening in Game 5 of the second round of the NHL playoffs with the series tied 2-2.

The Stars and Jets will be back at it on Tuesday in Game 4 in Dallas. The Panthers defended home ice for the second game in a row. Florida received goals from Carter Verhaeghe and Sam Bennett as well as 22 saves from Sergei Bobrovsky to move level with the Maple Leafs.

Game 5 against the Florida Panthers is the most important game of the Maple Leafs’ season and likely in the playoff careers of their stars. After squandering a 2-0 series lead, the Leafs have surrendered all the momentum in the second round.
