LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Following its loss to Texas A&M in the regional final of the NCAA Tournament, the Nebraska volleyball team fell two spots in the final AVCA poll of the season. In the poll released on Monday, the Huskers ranked No. 3 with 1,385 total points.
The win clinches the Aggies' first-ever Final Four appearance. After defeating the national runner-up Louisville Cardinals in the Sweet 16, A&M beat the Cornhuskers in five sets. The Aggies won the first two sets and narrowly lost an epic 37-35 fourth period before claiming the decisive set 15-13.
