Two people have been criminally charged in connection to a shooting and police chase in Milwaukee. The pursuit involved a U-Haul van.

Milwaukee police arrested a suspect after a shooting wounded one person Friday near 11th and Abert on the city's north side.

A wanted Milwaukee man wounded in a police shooting on Monday is now accused of child sexual assault, among other crimes.

The suspect drew a firearm while communicating with two officers. A struggle for the weapon ensued and one officer shot the suspect, the police said.

The Milwaukee Police Department said a 58-year-old is dead after a crash in Milwaukee on Thursday, Jan. 9. The driver was traveling eastbound when the vehicle collided with an unoccupied, parked vehicle.
