Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted he is confident he will be able to welcome four injured players back to the squad in time for his side’s Premier League opener against Manchester United later this month.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has backed Viktor Gyokeres ’ decision to wear Thierry Henry’s famous No14 shirt. Gyokeres completed his move to Arsenal from Sporting last week, signing for an initial fee of around £55million.

The reshaping of the Arsenal squad is just one of the adaptations Arteta is making in his quest to end Arsenal’s wait for silverware. “The only thing that (the players) were talking about at the end of last season and the first day through the door is, ‘OK, how are we going to be better? How are we going to do more?’,” he said.
