ESPN’s Mike Greenberg’s fandom of the New York Jets has been well-documented throughout his lengthy tenure at the network. And moving forward, his name may be forever etched in the history of the Jets organization without any of his doing.

Greenberg, who has spent 15 years with the Bucs, will interview for the Jets general manager’s job, the Tampa Bay Times confirmed. The Bucs assistant general manager joined the club in 2010 as a player personnel assistant. He rose steadily in the organization, becoming a creative manager of the team’s salary cap.
