Buffalo Bills running back James Cook was reportedly a non-participant in Sunday's mandatory team practice. Cook, a former Georgia Bulldog, is currently seeking a contract extension and has been extremely vocal with his desire to get a new deal done ahead of the 2025 season.

James Cook is taking his contract negotiations to the next level. The Buffalo Bills starting running back was at training camp on Sunday, but did not participate in any of the team’s activities, ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg reports.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook was the one Buffalo star in line for an extension that didn't receive one this spring. Greg Rousseau, Khalil Shakir, Terrel Bernard, Khalil Shakir, and Josh Allen all received new deals over the offseason, but the Pro Bowl running back was left without one.
