In an interview with Esquire published Wednesday, director Paul Thomas Anderson asked the actor whether reaching the age last year felt like “a natural time” for reflection. DiCaprio first joked that he had just “turned emotionally 35.”
At the time, the Oscar winner had to turn down the leading role as he was busy leading James Cameron’s ‘Titanic.’
For those unaware, Caprio's mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, has worked as a legal secretary. The Titanic actor was asked by Anderson to "answer as quickly," if you "didn't know how old you are, how old are you right now?" Leonardo DiCaprio replied that he is 32 years old.
