Albert Johansson's first NHL goal was a highlight of the Detroit Red Wings' 6th straight win, a 5-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks at LCA.

Given the Red Wings' head-coaching change, and the NHL Christmas break, and the fact new coach Todd McLellan was figuring out his lineup and Johansson was a healthy scratch four straight games, when Johansson did play Saturday in Winnipeg, it was his first game action in 12 days.

“Anytime a young man scores his first goal in the league, everybody’s so excited, like the bench, trainers, coaches, and certainly Albert,” McLellan said. “We’re really excited and over and above the goal itself, he had really good instincts to go to that hole.
