A new defensive coordinator candidate has emerged for the Indianapolis Colts. According to Joel Erickson of the Indy Star, the Colts will be interviewing current Michigan defensive coordinator Wink Martindale for the opening. The interview will take place on Thursday.

Dennis Allen may not be a great head coach, but he is certainly a strong defensive coordinator option for the Colts.

Wink Martindale, 61, made it through two rounds of Indianapolis head coaching interviews for the job that ultimately went to Shane Steichen.
