The 2025 Men's College World Series kicked off Friday, with No. 13 Coastal Carolina earning the first win of the tournament over Arizona and No. 8 Oregon State outlasting Louisville. Oregon State had a win in hand entering the ninth inning, and didn't let some misadventures stop them from advancing in the winner's bracket.

On Thursday, former Coastal Carolina and Mississippi State running back Simeon Price committed to joining Colorado. Price spent last season at Coastal Carolina after spending the previous three seasons at Mississippi State.
