Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei is set to complete a move to Serie A side Lazio, with his agent confirming the move on social media.

The agent of Cesare Casadei is in Rome to wrap up the Chelsea youngster's transfer to Lazio. The Italian's time at Stamford Bridge is coming to an end. In the summer, head coach Enzo Maresca still managed to convince him to stay at Chelsea and fight for his place.

According to Sportitalia, Chelsea have accepted Lazio’s offer for Cesare Casadei, which is worth €12m cash plus a 25 per cent cut of the resale.

After Toro tabled an opening offer of €10m last week, Lazio have made their first proposal. TMW says Lazio have offered €12m cash plus 10 per cent of any sell-on fee. It is now in Toro's court whether to make a new bid or walk away. It's suggested Casadei 's future will be decided before the end of this week.
