The battle over releasing documents tied to the Jeffrey Epstein case has created a rare bipartisan push in Congress.

The Justice department petitioned the court last week to release those typically closely held records of the testimony of witnesses who appeared before the grand jury.

Trump has never been accused of wrongdoing in connection with Epstein and the mere inclusion of someone's name in files from the investigation does not imply otherwise.
